What’s Behind the Label?

The GSN label signifies certification under the GLOBAL S.L.P. Standard, assuring buyers that the products they purchase meet environmental, workplace safety and worker welfare requirements. These requirements are regularly reviewed by independent organizations.

The GLOBAL S.L.P. Standard

“S.L.P.” stands for “Smart Livestock Practices”, and GLOBAL S.L.P. is an international standard that ensures compliance with these practices. We aim to make the benefits of the standard accessible to all, which is why we’ve designed the animal production standard in a manner that smaller farms can also adopt.

Integrated Farm Management’s Labels

Integrated Farm Management is GLOBAL S.L.P.’s flagship standard. Developed in consultation with stakeholders across the entire global supply chain, it takes a holistic approach to responsible farming and is audited annually by independent third-party certification bodies.

CENTRAL DE CARNES PREMIUM has cattle breeding farms in the regions of Madrid, Castilla León, and Castilla la Mancha, reaching a total of 30,000 head of cattle in cycle. For over 35 years, we have worked with farmers dedicated to cattle breeding; all of them are family-owned businesses located in rural areas. Their great effort and dedication are the true driving force behind the responsible and safe raising of animals.

We work with our farmers on specific training plans for good farming practices, respect for animals, proper feeding using resources responsibly, control of livestock transportation, and animal welfare during slaughter.
